Rochelle has been painting wildlife professionally since 1980 and in 1990 became a premiere endangered species artist focusing her efforts on less-romantic animals that get little public attention. Her mission to raise awareness about endangered species through art is accomplished by creating traveling art exhibits featured in natural history museums and by writing an entertaining column for various publications across the US. 

Rochelle utilizes an extensive collection of personal photographs taken from travels along with reference books in order to create dynamic compositions for her paintings. She proudly supports the Small Cat Conservation Alliance with proceeds from the sales of her art.
