New traveling exhibit features all 36 species of wildcats
from around the world.

For the first time ever, all 36 species of wildcats from around the world are represented in one exhibit. Focus on Nature: Wildcats of the World is a collection of 36 framed prints from oil paintings by endangered species artist Rochelle Mason and watercolor paintings from wildlife artist Linda DuPuis-Rosen. In addition to representing the 9 familiar big cats, this fascinating series brings much-needed attention to the rich and diverse family of 27 small cats, weighing less than 45 pounds, many of which have never been studied in the wild. The artist's works sensitively reflect the individual characteristics of each cat with a delightful infusion of "personality", which brings life to every vivid image.

The artwork . . .
Thirty-six beautifully-framed, high-quality prints bring to life the fascinating felines that share our world, many of which remain largely undiscovered. Rochelle's oil paintings are reproduced on canvas, range in size from 9x12" to 24x30" (most cats represented are life-size) and are framed uniformly in black wood. Linda's watercolor paintings are reproduced on paper and uniformly matted and framed in black wood (most to 24x36") and protected under plexi-glass.

Text panels . . .
We provide finished text panels for use with the exhibit. Each framed work is accompanied by an easy-to-read, 5x7" panel which gives insight into the wildcat's life including:
* where he lives and what the surroundings are like
* remarkable adaptations to these surroundings
* what he likes to eat based on his size
* a current distribution map
